Crypto Invest Summit Highlights Women Pioneers in the Blockchain World

Over the past year and a half, society has started to come to grips with how certain industries treat women. Scandals first rocked Hollywood. Then came the Vanity Fair article late last year exposing bias and abuse in the tech industry. “It’s time to fight back against prejudice and perception, ” said the founders of Crypto Invest Summit, Alon Goren, and Josef Halom.

Therefore, the Crypto Invest Summit has put special emphasis on highlighting how innovative, passionate, and powerful women help to drive the revolutionary world of blockchain.

On day two at 11:30, six leaders in blockchain development and entrepreneurship will take the stage. They will tell their stories but also will discuss the challenges and opportunities for women helping to drive blockchain technology. Afterward, participants are encouraged to ask questions.

The panel includes six rising influencers in the blockchain world. First, Ph.D. student Sarah Clayton is from the Annenberg school at the University of Southern California where she is currently researching the community politics driving decision making and innovation in the blockchain ecosystem. From the field of law comes Veronica Reynolds. In her second year of study at UCLA School of Law, Ms. Reynolds researches the ramifications of government adoption of blockchain technology. From the world of entrepreneurship comes $Guap Coin founder Tavonia Evans, who has worked to foster digital entrepreneurship in the black-owned business community.

Rounding out the all-female lineup are Koh Kim and Sarah Borazon. Koh Kim brought years of work developing partnerships at Google Play into investment and development. She now advises companies looking to tap into the convergence of tech, gaming, and media in Asia and North America. Sarah Borazon brings to the panel her expertise in the ever-evolving realm of regulatory compliance. Finally, Titan Securities founder Jenny Ta will share her expertise in venture development. As a self-made millionaire, Ms. Ta now helps advise entrepreneurs looking to break into the field.

By bringing some of the leading women driving blockchain and cryptocurrency together on one panel, the Crypto Invest Summit dispels the notion that tech is just a “good ol’ boy” club. Anyone with ideas, a work ethic, and vision can find success in this always-changing industry, the founders say.

None of the exciting presentations and events planned for Crypto Invest Summit would be possible without title sponsor Hedera Hashgraph and other sponsors, the founders said. To them–and to many in the blockchain industry–Hedera Hashgraph represents the future of online transactions. Other sponsors include American Airlines, Dream Team, DNA, Genesis Wavemaker Partners, and Spice Venture Capital.
